Entry: To enter the "New Outdoors.org" sweepstakes, complete all required information in the entry form at www.outdoors.org. One entry per person. One prize per winner. This is a random drawing sweepstakes. AMC membership is not required. Joining does not increase the chances of winning. Void where prohibited.

 

Eligibility: Open only to legal residents of the 50 states of the U.S. (including the District of Columbia) and Canada, 18 years of age or older. This sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. By entering sweepstakes, entrant consents to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts for resolution of all disputes. 

 

Timing: Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 AM on August 24, 2010 and ends at 3:00 PM on September 20, 2010. All times referenced in this sweepstakes are Eastern Time. All entries must be submitted by 3:00 PM on September 20, 2010. All required entry information must be complete to be eligible. Winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing on or around September 20, 2010. Winners will be notified by email. If potential winner cannot be reached after 10 days from first notification attempt, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such prize will be forfeited. Entrants need not be present to win. 

 

Conditions: Once submitted, entries become the sole property of the Appalachian Mountain Club and will not be returned. Persons affiliated with the Appalachian Mountain Club, including employees and any individual or company directly associated with the sweepstakes, and the immediate families of these entities, as well as members of the respective households of these entities (whether related or not) are ineligible to win. Winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a receipt. No substitution will be allowed and prizes may not be redeemed for cash or other consideration. The Appalachian Mountain Club is not responsible or liable for multiple entries completed or entered by other than human means or entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), tampered with, illegible, mutilated, forged, destroyed, incomplete, garbled, lost, misdirected, mechanically duplicated, mass machine printed, postage-due, or otherwise not in compliance with Official Rules (and such entries will be disqualified). 

 

Prizes: Grand Prize is one (1) two-night stay for two people at winner's choice of one of the following AMC Destinations: Highland Center, Joe Dodge Lodge, Cardigan Lodge, Little Lyford Lodge and Cabins, and Mohican Outdoor Center. The maximum Approximate Retail Value (the "ARV") of the sweepstakes grand prize is $580, depending on chosen destination. Includes lodging in a private room or cabin where available. Winner must redeem package by December 31, 2011. Reservation subject to availability. The following black-out dates apply: November 25-28, 2010; December 24, 2010-January 2, 2011; February 18-26, 2011. Full-service camps and self-service cabins excluded. Winner is responsible for payment of all tax obligations. All other expenses, including transportation to/from the lodging location and gratuities, are the sole responsibility of the winner to pay.
