Interns must be affiliated with an educational institution and receive academic credit through the institution for services and training received at the AMC.

- Interpretive Naturalist - Assists in the development, coordination and delivery of a variety of interpretative programs at Pinkham Notch Visitor Center.

- Assistant North Country Trails Volunteer Coordinator Internship - Assists with program development, coordination, and administrations of all AMC Trails Volunteer Opportunities in the North Country region.
- Sustainability and Planning Intern - Cold River Camp, Evans Notch. Gather baseline data for busy summer camp and assist in conducting a baseline analysis of the Camp's energy consumption and other indicators of sustainability (recycling, water use, wastewater management, purchased food and materials, vendor practices); creating and maintaining an educational display regarding the project and the topic for a camp public area; researching alternative energy options, materials, supplies, and systems.

* Internships are not always available in each area. Interns may receive funding for basic needs, including room and board and mileage in the form of actual reimbursements or a small stipend for the summer or season.
