Several AMC departments offer internship opportunities throughout the year^*. Please email the specific department for more information and type "internship" in the email's subject line.

Interns must be affiliated with an educational institution and receive academic credit through the institution for services and training received at the AMC.  Please note that not every internship is offered each year.

Massachusetts

• Carbon Footprint - Help collect and analyze data  relevant to calculating AMC's carbon footprint. This data is input to a C02 calculator developed by Clean Air– Cool Planet. The intern would be responsible for collecting relevant data from 2011 and later, on specific facility projects that would reduce our footprint. This will help formulate an AMC climate action plan.

• Volunteer Relations — Assist busy Volunteer Relations staff in the support of chapter leadership, event planning, web page support, marketing and educational upgrades, and assist with ongoing chapter database maintenance. Email rscholl@outdoors.org.

New Hampshire

^*Internships are not always available in each area. Interns may receive funding for basic needs, including room and board and mileage in the form of actual reimbursements or a small stipend for the summer or season.
