The Technical Intern will operate out of our facility at 5 Joy St., Boston (Beacon Hill), working on many aspects of Web development. Specifically, the intern will create, update, and help maintain Web pages; troubleshoot and maintain programming code; work with and manipulate graphical images in various image formats; work with multimedia content; and maintain documentation and content archives. This opportunity offers an enriching experience in a fun environment for the right intern.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of HTML and Website creation tools.
- Basic programming skills.
- Familiarity with the Internet and the Web.
- Knowledge of graphics, layout, and design for Web-based products.
- Desire to troubleshoot code and Website issues.
- Knowledge of PC or Macintosh desktop environments.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Creativity in problem-solving.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
- Sense of humor.
- Knowledge of Javascript, Perl and MySql, helpful.
- Complete commitment to getting the most out of this fantastic experience — a must!
