Join AMC for Earth Day 2017: April 22

March 31, 2017

Get Out and Stand Up for the Outdoors

On April 22, AMC invites you to join us for Earth Day. We are hosting events all around the Northeast, and there is something for everyone. Join us to march for science, clean up a park or trail, or simply celebrate the joy of healthy outdoor activities.

Nearly 50 years ago, Earth Day put the values of a healthy environment on center stage and spurred transformational progress through landmark legislation, including the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts.

Today, the nation faces the prospect of slashed funding for environmental protection, research, and land protection, as well as stalled action on climate, and we can do something about it. We cannot go backwards.

Find an activity near you on April 22 anywhere across AMC’s region.
