In the second half of 2005, AMC’s staff agreed that the club needed to take a close look at the impact of our own energy use. AMC’s increasing involvement in energy concerns like climate change makes it imperative that we take steps to improve our own practices.
Having completed some preliminary work, the Green Team turned its focus in 2007 to continuing the great work it started in 2006 and increasing our full staff’s involvement in reducing the organization’s carbon output. As part of the team’s new endeavors, they gave a progress report to the staff at the Annual Meeting and asked for individuals to sign onto a new pledge campaign.
