NH Fire Towers:
Hikers visiting these locations can take part in a visibility study. The goals of the study are to collect visibility data during public visits documenting vistors experience and to educate the public about small particle pollution and its role in visibility impairment and human and ecosystem health impacts.

This project was sponsored by an EPA Environmental Education Grant and is a joint effort by the AMC, N.H. Department of Environmental Services Air Resource Division and the N.H. Department of Resources and Economic Development (DRED) Forest and Lands Division.
