Since its founding, AMC's
legacy includes the development of high quality maps of trails in the Northeast. Today, it
researches and publishes a broad range of
maps covering the mountains of Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, as well as the Catskills. Our mapping is also the foundation for
White Mountain Guide Online.
AMC also offers mapping services to land managers, including field data collection using differential GPS, development of trail maps and river and greenway guides, and GIS analysis. AMC works with local or regional agencies and groups who have a common interest in strengthening local economies through nature-based tourism and active outdoor recreations. Often we are asked to consult on both mapping and recreation planning.
