A gift to the AMC is a wonderful way to honor a friend's birthday, holiday, the birth of a child, or a new marriage. It can also be a meaningful way to mark the passing of a friend or family member who loved the outdoor experiences that the AMC helps to bring to so many. We offer several ways for you to recognize an important person while providing much-needed support for the AMC's mission.
Giving Opportunities
Your gracious gift in any of these categories will be published in our member magazine, AMC Outdoors. You will also receive a letter of thanks, and we will notify the honoree of your gift or the family of the deceased.
- Name a Tree or Bench — Honor a special person, group, or event by naming a tree or bench for them at the AMC's Highland Center at Crawford Notch.
- Honorary Gifts — Honor someone's birthday, anniversary, or a holiday with a gift to the AMC. Give online.
- Memorial Gifts — Pay a lasting tribute to AMC members, friends, and supporters who are no longer with us. Give online.
Named Endowment Funds
Funds from endowment have enabled the AMC to ensure that it will have the resources to achieve its mission for generations to come. Endowment funds are invested to maximize total return rather than annual cash earnings. These funds, which are named after an honoree, are established at $100,000.
