Naturalist Programs

Naturalist programs at many of our destinations and beyond offer guided discoveries of the Northeast's natural and cultural history. From stone walls to stoneflies, our interpretive programs spark the curiosity of young and old.

Programs

• Natural History Outdoor Explorations — Join us for wildlife explorations, whether on foot, by canoe, or even on snowshoe!
• Become a Volunteer Naturalist — Lead nature walks and talks and share your love of the outdoors with visitors at AMC facilities.
• Hut Naturalists — Hut naturalists offer free programs for hut guests on topics such as bird calls and alpine plants.
• Junior Naturalists - Activities and lessons help kids at AMC Destinations become aware of their natural surroundings.
