AMC maintains five campsites and a shelter on its Maine Woods conservation property for use by the general public.  Rates are set and collected in cooperation with the KI-Jo Mary Multiple Use forest.  Fees are paid at KIJM checkpoints May through October.

Phoenix Shelter at Trout Pond

Advance reservations are not required, but recommended on Friday and Saturday nights. Fee is collected during times KIJM checkpoints are open, May opening through October.  Please follow rules for use of KIJM campsites.

 

*shelter: site with a three-sided lean-to and no designated tenting area.
tentsite: site with just tent platforms or pads in designated area and no shelter/lean-to.
campsite: site with both shelter/lean-to and tent platforms or pads in designated area.
