Daily Explorations - Year-round, stop in for free, one-hour skills sessions with AMC's expert staff. Topics vary depending on the location and weather, but could include nature walks, moose tours, map and compass navigation, how to pack for seasonal outdoor adventures, and Leave No Trace principles. Offered daily at the Highland Lodge at Crawford Notch and the Joe Dodge Lodge at Pinkham Notch, these skills sessions are a great refresher for novice and experienced adventurers.
Weekend Explorations
- Join us at the Highland Lodge for a free one-hour Learn to Nordic Ski or Snowshoe Clinic. Learn the basics of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing from AMC's friendly staff, then try out your new skills on a guided naturalist trip on your own.
- Join us at both the Highland Lodge and Joe Dodge Lodge for free Guided Snowshoe or Cross-Country Ski Tours with an AMC Naturalist.
