This 80-hour course uses the principles of long-term patient care, improvised resources, and varying environmental conditions as the framework for responding to medical incidents in remote settings. Lecture, hands-on practice, and simulated rescues emphasize injury prevention and decision making in emergencies. Course graduates will receive CPR and Wilderness First Responder certificates.
