• Hiking – take short walks from the lodge to Ammonoosuc Lake, Saco Lake or Elephant Head. The Crawford Path and Avalon Trail are a few steps from the lodge, offering day hikes to 4000-Footers like Mt. Tom, Mt. Field or Mt. Pierce.

• Plan a hut overnight adventure: take the Crawford Path from the Lodge to Mizpah Spring Hut (2.4 miles), or take our Hiker Shuttle from the Lodge to access trails to Zealand Falls Hut or Galehead Hut.
   
• Cross-country ski from our lodge door to the Bretton Woods Nordic trail system, or ski downhill at Bretton Woods (5 minute drive).
