Family Adventure Camps
July 19-25
Spend your family vacation deep in the wilderness of the North Maine Woods. Among other activities, you’ll learn to paddle a canoe, fly fish, and to observe and identify frogs, birds and other wildlife. This program will give it’s participants a deeper appreciation and understanding of the forest, lakes, rivers and wildlife that is Maine’s North Woods. Adults and children alike will have time to spend with new friends during a scheduled adult evening social and kids-only cook out over a campfire. There will be plenty of time to relax with your family in addition to participating in the great schedule of programs. At the end of the week, each child will become an AMC Junior Naturalist with a certificate and patch to prove it.
Package includes meals and lodging. Children ages 5 and up are welcome at AMC's Family Camps.
