AMC will close Medawisla after the 2011-2012 Winter season for reconstruction and renovation. We plan to reopen for the 2013-2014 Winter season.

We will announce more details regarding our plans for Medawisla in the coming months. In the meantime, Gorman Chairback and Little Lyford will continue to welcome summer guests for fly fishing, hiking, paddling, and relaxing. Our partner West Branch Pond Camps will also continue to welcome guests during this period. 

AMC’s Roach Ponds Tract will remain open for the public to enjoy our trails, newly constructed paddle-in campsites, and other recreational opportunities. Check our website at www.outdoors.org/mainelodges for more information.
