Medawisla Wilderness Lodge and Cabins offers a spectacular location “off the grid” on undeveloped Second Roach Pond.  You can drive directly to Medawisla in the summer, or ski in (5.5 miles) during the winter.

Cabins
  • Seven individual private cabins sleeping one to nine people, with combination of doubles and bunkbeds.  Each cabin has a kitchen, woodstove, and gas lamp.  Cabins 1-5 have screen porches
  • Cabins have their own bathroom and shower in spring/summer/fall; outhouses and central hot shower provided in winter
  • Medawisla provides full service during the winter including dinner, breakfast, and trail lunch, and self-service during the summer where guests can cook their own meals.  Each self-service kitchen has a refrigerator (except cabin 7), stove, and utensils, with hot and cold running water in spring/summer/fall
  • Pillows and blankets provided – bring your own sheets or sleeping bag

Meal Service (winter only)

  • Dinner served family style at 6:00PM sharp, includes soup, salad, entrée, dessert
  • Breakfast served family style at 8:00AM sharp 
  • Lunch: make your own – we provide sandwich fixings, fruit, trail snacks
