The Appalachian Mountain Club’s Board of Directors has approved an update to the Club’s bylaws that will bring them into full compliance with Massachusetts law and modernize them to reflect best practices in nonprofit governance. Any bylaw changes require a vote by the full membership and approval by a majority of votes cast. Members as of June 15 received a ballot by mail.
