Get Out, Give Back, and Have Fun!
Join the AMC on Saturday, June 7, for National Trails Day celebrations across the AMC region. Sponsored nationally by the American Hiking Society to promote awareness and cooperation among trail users, the day involves participants at events across the country.
Meet new people, learn new skills, and have fun on the 16th annual National Trails Day. With the AMC, you can help care for Northeast trails enjoyed by millions each year since AMC members are often not only found hiking the trails, but caring for them as well. AMC’s legacy of stewardship will shine on National Trails Day as AMC hosts an array of hiking and trail work events in a variety of locations.
Come celebrate our trails by enjoying them and giving a little time to protect them. No experience is necessary and all the tools you’ll need are provided in most cases. Check with the organizers for specific details.
If you can’t join us on National Trails Day, see a listing of other volunteer trail crew offerings in the White Mountains, NH, Berkshires, MA, and Baxter State park and Acadia National Park, ME.
Our Chapters are also hosting a wide variety of programs in celebration of National Trails Day across the region. Click on the event title for a full description:
