The 13th Annual AMC Photo Contest

Mount Adams at Sunrise. Photo: Sean TwomeyThis year’s photo contest is more than just a competition. It’s an opportunity to help support AMC’s mission of protecting the Northeast outdoors. Each year we receive hundreds of stunning images, yet are only able to anoint a handful as contest winners. The rest? They go into the photo archives, which we often reference for specific needs in AMC Outdoors, online at www.outdoors.org, and in the many other publications that AMC produces each year. But sometimes we can’t find the right image, especially when it comes to AMC destinations and activities.

So this year we’ve expanded the contest to include a new "Visions of AMC" category. We are looking for photos that illustrate the many facets of AMC's mission, from trail work to outdoor education, chapter activities to hut visits—anything and everything related to AMC’s mission of conservation, education, and recreation in the Northeast outdoors. so get out there, get shooting, and have fun!
