For a decade and a half, AMC members have been capturing their adventures for the annual AMC Photo Contest.

From the beginning, these thousands of images have shown the diverse interests and accomplishments of AMC's members. Entries have included evidence of daring alpine ascents and casual weekend trips with the family. Canine hiking companions make frequent appearances, and moose are an annual favorite. Nothing, though, outnumbers the breathtaking vistas captured from mountaintops, shorelines and campsites. We hope you enjoy this year's winning entries — and we look forward to seeing where your 2010 adventures take you.

Congratulations to this year’s winners who received prizes provided by JetBoil, MTI, and Mountain Hardwear. And, as always, we would like to thank our judges — Allison Bell, Jerry Monkman, and Paul Mozell — who spent hours reviewing and debating this year's entries.
