Level of difficulty
Many of these adventures traverse a full range of mountain environments from the tundra, and boreal forest at elevation and finally the northern hardwood forest in the valley. Changeable weather is the name of the game in the White Mountains. Participants need to be prepared for all possibilities including sun, rain, cold and wind. Participants should be good hiking or skiing shape and able to hike/ski up to six hours in a day, have proper hiking/ski boots and clothing and be prepared for alpine conditions and weather.
Review the detailed description of each individual adventure, including intinerary, mileage, and elevation gain.
