Get Out There! Kids who spend time outdoors experiencing the natural world beyond the sporting field enjoy many benefits, including a stronger connection to nature. Even so, some parents get nervous about sending their kids into the woods. AMC has created materials that you can either use on your own or as part of a group to help have fun outside with your kids, talk about safety, learn more about the environment, and let your kids explore the way you did as a child.

You can share this Confronting Climate Change This presentation addresses what climate change will feel like in the Northeastern United States, and what families and individuals can do to reverse the trends. Different presentations exist for grades elementary, middle/high school, and for adults. To find volunteers in your area who can give the presentation, or to become a trained presenter yourself, please contact Faith Salter.
