What you’ll see: This 3,349-acre management area comprises freshwater wetlands, red maple swamp, cedar swamp, forest, and a small percentage of agricultural land. It also includes 2 miles of shoreline habitat at the northern edge of Worden Pond, plus several tributaries of the Pawcatuck River.

Getting There

  • Take RI 1 to RI 138 west to Liberty Lane, just past the junction with RI 110. Bear left on Liberty Lane, and after 1.0 mile turn left at the end of the road onto unpaved Great Neck Road. The park headquarters are on the left, and Great Neck Road ends at a large parking area 1.0 mile from Liberty Lane.
