What you’ll see: In the winter there is alpine skiing at the Blue Hill Ski Area on the western side of Great Blue Hill, ice skating at several ponds and artificial rinks, and cross-country skiing on many of the reservation trails and across the neighboring Ponkapoag Golf Course.

- From Route 128, take Exit 2B (Route 138 North) and go 1 mile to parking lot on the right, adjacent to the Trailside Museum.
