What You’ll See: Laurie's Ledge Trail, a summer hiking and winter snowshoeing trail, leads off the north leg of the Indian Mountain Circuit Trail. It offers excellent views to the north at its easterly outlook of Whitecap and Gulf Hagas mountains and, on a clear day, offers a great view of Mount Katahdin. At the westerly outlook, you can enjoy excellent views of Elephant Mountain and many of the areas ponds.

Getting There
At the center of Greenville, turn right on Pleasant Street (first street on the right past blinking light and across from the Katahdin steamboat) toward the airport. Follow the signs for Little Lyford Lodge and Cabins. North Maine Woods gate (*fee charged) is approximately 12 miles from Greenville. Continue approximately 5 miles to the Little Lyford Ponds driveway on the right. The trailhead is located at the top of the driveway.
