What you’ll see: The Tully Trail will take you through exceptional conservation land featuring crystalline streams and ponds, small mountains and vast forest. This hike is a great early or late season option, especially for fall foliage.

What you’ll experience:

  • Distance: 20.6 miles round-trip (2 days)
  • Elevation gain: 3,300 feet

What’s in the area:

  • The 1,163-foot summit of Tully mountain offers the hike’s best views.
  • You can camp at Royalston Falls Shelter, a cabin like structure, or drive-up Tully Lake Campground.

Getting there:

  • Route 2 to Exit 17 in Atoll. Follow Route 32 N for 6.4 miles. Turn right onto Doane Road and proceed 0.8 mile to the campground entrance on right.
