What you’ll see: Pisgah State Park is New Hampshire’s largest state park and provides some of the best mountain biking in the entire state. The park, which lies in parts of Winchester, Chesterfield, and Hinsdale, contains beautiful stands of second-growth forests, including northern hardwood, oak-hickory, and hemlock forests.

Getting There

  • From the intersection of NH 9 and NH 63, head south on NH 63. In 1.1 miles, turn left onto Old Chesterfield Road. In another 0.3 mile, turn right onto Horseshoe Road. Park at the end of the road in another 1.4 miles.
