New Hampshire 4,000-Footer Planning Guide – Mount Tecumseh

Profile
Mt. Tecumseh (4003’) is the shortest official 4,000 footer and home to Waterville Valley ski area. Views to the immediate north include Mt. Osceola (4340’), the highest peak in the region. East, across the valley, is the Tripyramid Massif, which includes North Tripyramid (4180’) and Middle Tripyramid (4140’).
Suggested Routes
Moderate: Ascend the 2.5 mile Mt. Tecumseh Trail to the summit. Descend the same way.
Trip Planning
The WMNF Osceola Vista Campground, located on nearby Tripoli Road, is open from Memorial Day to Columbus Day.

Fun Fact
Mt. Tecumseh is named after the Shawnee leader.
