The Distinguished Service Award was established in 1976, the Centennial Year of the AMC, and is presented annually to a member(s).
"In recognition of outstanding contribution to the work of the Club. The award is a symbol for all Club members that we are an organization of volunteers working together in service to the public and for the preservation of our outdoor heritage.
