I set up a field camera on Square Ledge in Pinkham Notch to capture daily images of the foliage change on Mount Washington, from September 10–October 9. The following time lapse video is a compilation of the photos.
We use the cameras mainly for AMC’s Mountain Watch program, our citizen-science program, which encourages hikers to record simple observations that contribute to our understanding of climate change.
I hope to utilize the cameras this winter, to try and capture the visitors to our bird feeders at the AMC Pinkham Notch Visitor Center, I’ll post the photos, or videos here. Enjoy the changing seasons.
