The Potomac Chapter is extending an invitation to climbers and hikers of all abilities to hear mountaineer and rock climber Ed Webster.

In 1988, American mountaineer Ed Webster and three friends achieved and survived the impossible: a new route up Mt. Everest’s remote Kangshung East Face in Tibet without the aid of Sherpas or oxygen. Ed Webster saved his team,leading the way to safety with no food or water for four days. Come hear Ed’s enthralling story accompanied by his breathtaking photographs.
