Our Last Chance to Save the Land and Water Conservation Fund

On September 30th, the Land and Water Conservation Fund will expire, leaving critically important conservation projects in limbo.

Write to your members of Congress and ask them to press for a vote on H.R. 502 and S. 569 to permanently reauthorize and fully fund the Land and Water Conservation before it expires.

The Land and Water Conservation Fund is a visionary and bipartisan federal funding program for protecting our nation’s most special places. From Sterling Forest in the New York Highlands, to White Cap Mountain in Maine, to the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, the Land and Water Conservation Fund has funded the protection of some of our most iconic landscapes and trails in the Northeast.

We simply cannot let our nation’s premier conservation funding program expire. Speak up today!
