Join us to celebrate National Trails Day

Join the AMC on Saturday, June 2, for National Trails Day celebrations across our region. Sponsored nationally by the American Hiking Society to promote and celebrate the importance of trails in the United States, the day involves participants at events across the country.

Come celebrate our trails by either enjoying them for the first time or giving a little time to protect them. For trails projects, no experience is necessary and all the tools you’ll need are provided in most cases. Check with the organizers for specific details.

If you can’t join us on National Trails Day, see a listing of other teen and adult volunteer trail crew offerings in the White Mountains, Berkshires, Baxter State Park and Acadia National Park, Maine Woods, Delaware Water Gap, and Harriman State Park.

Below is a full listing of 2018 National Trails Day events. All will be held over the weekend unless otherwise noted. Check back with us often as we add more exciting programs for National Trails Day.
