Vote for the Outdoors

Use AMC's voter education tool to make a plan to vote for people and the outdoors.

Try the Voter Education Tool

Presidential, state, and local elections present a critical opportunity to act for the outdoors. Make a plan to vote by learning about the candidates on your ballot. AMC's voter education tool helps you prepare so that your vote has the greatest impact for people and the outdoors.

Make a Plan to Vote

We encourage you to get informed about every candidate on your ballot, and as you research the candidates who will appear on your ballot, we urge you to evaluate their commitment to:

  • Science and addressing climate change
  • Land and water protection
  • Increasing access to the outdoors
  • Creating high-quality parks and trails for all

Elections can be overwhelming. AMC's voter education tool makes it easy to make a plan to vote in a few steps:

  1. Learn about the candidates on your ballot at the local, state, and federal levels.
  2. If you can, talk to your candidates. Tell them about the issues that matter to you.
  3. Make a plan and prepare to vote in-person or via absentee ballot.
  4. Share AMC's tool with your community so they can learn how to use their vote for the outdoors.
