Writer Jenny O'Connell shares the story of her solo trek across Finland's Arctic Circle in the footsteps of Lappish folk hero Petronella van der Moer. Inspired by Petronella's 1949 journey into the gold fields of Lapland, Jenny walked and hitchhiked the long way across Finland, following Petronella's legendary trail to Lemmenjoki National Park, where she lived in the wilderness with the modern-day gold prospectors. Includes a reading from Finding Petronella, Jenny's memoir-in-progress about her adventure.
