New Fall Extension Season

We are now offering a fall extension season Labor Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend with a 2-3 night minimum Thursday through Tuesday. Rates include breakfast, a trail lunch and the option of adding dinner and a lobster picnic. We can also accommodate groups and special events. Contact the managers directly for more information or to make a fall reservation at managers@amcecholakecamp.org or call 615 681 8441.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Echo Lake Camp’s facilities consist of platform tents with canvas sides, equipped with cots, blankets, mattresses, and pillows for two to five people. The Camp also offers a full-service dining hall providing three meals a day, a library, a recreation hall with comfy chairs and fireplaces, flush toilets, and a shared bathhouse with hot showers. Tent platforms, bathhouse, and dining hall are accessible by wheelchair.

Activities include self-service options like hiking, canoeing/kayaking, sailing, and biking, as well as daily hikes led by experienced leaders, nature walks with the Camp’s naturalist, and weekly lobster cookouts and clambakes. Evening programs range from square dancing to Bingo, and each week is concluded with a final Talent Night.

Because of its location and proximity to the lake, Echo Lake Camp is not suitable for children under the age of four or pets. Smoking is prohibited.

Campers (including individual members of families and groups) who give less than 30 days notice of a cancellation will be charged the full rate for their reservation.
