Noble View Outdoor Center

Noble View’s peaceful, pristine mountaintop location overlooks the Pioneer Valley in Russell, MA and features 360 acres of woodlands, trails, and abandoned farm fields. Relax in one of our fully-updated, self service cottages and gather at the campfire in the evenings. Campsites are a short walk away for those wishing to sleep under the stars.

Attractions include hiking, swimming, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and the Appalachian Trail is nearby. Noble View is easily accessible from major highways. Click here for trail map.

Rooms

Noble View hosts two private cabins with covered porches. Guests can prepare and serve their own meals and have exclusive use of the cabin. Bedrooms offer twin beds with mattresses. Electric lights are throughout the cabins, and woodstoves provide heat on cool nights. Firewood is provided. Guests are expected to clean up at the end of their stay, dispose of garbage in provided receptacles and recycle. There is no running water in the cabins.

A central bath house includes showers and composting toilets and a separate dishwashing area with large stainless 3-bay sinks. Water for the cabins can be carried to the cabins in provided 5gl jugs with spigots.

A shared campfire is located between the cabins and wood is provided.

Double Cottage accommodates 18 guests in 8 bedrooms. There are two fully equipped kitchens, large common and dining areas and two woodstoves. Each kitchen has a commercial stove, electric coffee pot, toaster, refrigerator and all cook and service ware.

North Cottage accommodates 10 guests in 4 bedrooms. There is a fully equipped kitchen, large common area, dining area and a wood stove. The kitchen has a commercial stove, electric coffee pot, toaster, refrigerator and all cook and service ware.

CAMPSITES

Ten tenting sites are available in a gently wooded area and are a short walk from the central bath house. There are four shared fire rings.

ACCESSIBILITY

North and Double Cottages both have ramps and the entire first floors are accessible. There is one accessible bedroom on the first floor of North Cottage and two first floor accessible bedrooms in Double Cottage. The central bath house is accessible

MEAL SERVICE

The cabins are self-service and guests are responsible for preparing their own meals, disposing of garbage in provided receptacles and recycling. Guests are expected to clean up after themselves during their stay and prior to leaving.

PETS

Dogs are welcome at the cabins, year-round. Please notify AMC Contact Service Center if you plan to bring your dog. There is a $10 per dog, per night fee and a maximum of 2 dogs per cabin. Dogs are not allowed at the campsites.

Advance reservations are required for all overnight use of Noble View. Full payment, in advance, is required.

Individual guests under the age of 21 MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Noble View Outdoor Center is a self-service facility. We have a carry in-carry out policy on all trash. Guests are expected to clean up after themselves during their stay and prior to leaving.
