As Massachusetts voters head to the polls this November, they have a generational opportunity to shape the future of the outdoors. Ballot Question 6 holds the key to cleaner water, healthier forests, and more accessible outdoor experiences across the state. So, if you love hiking, camping, paddling, and exploring the outdoors, use your vote to help protect the places you love.
A YES vote on Question 6 would support directing existing state sales tax revenue from sporting goods toward conservation and outdoor recreation projects across Massachusetts through a new Nature for All Fund. With the potential to generate up to $100 million annually, this fund would support clean drinking water, conserve forests, farms, and wildlife habitats, reduce flooding and storm damage, and create and improve parks, trails, and greenspaces.

For AMC, this is more than a ballot question. It’s about what Massachusetts will look like 10, 25, and 50 years from now, and ensuring future generations can enjoy the same places and outdoor experiences that have inspired AMC for the past 150 years. That’s why AMC is proud to serve on the steering committee for the Nature for All Coalition, working alongside 100 organizations and businesses across the state to make this vision a reality.
As AMC looks to the next 150 years, Question 6 is an opportunity to help more people enjoy the outdoors in Massachusetts, the state where AMC first began.
