I kept trying to get my boyfriend to come out here and visit because he didn’t believe there was such a huge, beautiful park right outside of NYC. We finally made it and were surprised to find a visitor center right by a hiking trail. The best part was the AMC naturalist who gave us all kinds of information about wildlife, trees, plants, and bears…something we never experience where we live.
