AMC Volunteer Opportunities

Connect Outdoors

Want to get outside and meet other outdoor-enthusiasts of your age group? AMC Young Members (YM) is the group for you!

YM Committees of AMC’s Chapters organize activities, trips, and events intended for members and non-members in their 20s and 30s. These include the full range of outdoor activities, social events, as well as training for new and potential leaders.

Our goal is to sustain a vibrant 20s and 30s community within the AMC to empower the next generation of environmental stewards and advocates through community, leadership, and fun.

We aim to provide programs for younger and newer members to explore all that AMC has to offer to encourage their participation in the years to come. We look forward to having you join us.
