President’s Society

President’s Society members provide critical support for AMC’s conservation, environmental education, and recreation programs.

The President’s Society is comprised of generous donors who make gifts of $1,000 or more per year in support of AMC’s mission and work for the outdoors.

Lead the way for the outdoors of tomorrow.

Join the President’s Society Today

Annual unrestricted contributions from President’s Society members of $1,000 or more per year make AMC’s mission possible.

Through your generous donations, you are:

  • partnering to protect and fund public lands and build trails.
  • researching climate change and its impact on outdoor recreation and fragile ecosystems.
  • connecting people of all ages to the outdoors and inspiring the next generation of outdoor stewards.
  • working in the Maine Woods, practicing responsible forestry, protecting trees that store carbon, and restoring trout and salmon
habitat and other areas of ecological importance
  • inspiring leaders and giving them the skills they need to succeed through AMC’s Center for Outdoor Learning and Leadership (COLL).

In addition to knowing you are making a positive impact on the outdoors you can enjoy a suite of benefits that have been designed to give you the very best of the AMC experience. Enjoy exclusive invites to President’s Society Adventures, insider access to AMC expert staff, and learning opportunities to understand the impact you are making through your generous giving.

Please note these great benefits do not affect the tax deductibility of your gift.
