AMC’s Winter Snow Report

By Jenny O'Connell,

Winter has arrived in the Northeast—and that means snow days! Inspired by our popular fall foliage tracker, AMC’s winter snow report provides weekly updates from Appalachian Mountain Club locations in Maine from January to March, and New Hampshire throughout the winter.

Use these snow and conditions reports to help plan your next winter adventure, from family-friendly getaways to guided backcountry experiences. Whether you’re snowshoeing, skiing, or simply enjoying a cozy stay in the mountains, there’s an AMC destination ready to welcome you.

For up-to-date trail conditions at each of our locations, visit our AMC Weather & Trail Conditions page. If you’re traveling in the White Mountains, the Mount Washington Observatory Higher Summits Forecast will help you prepare for your adventure.
